Talin HubSpot

Talin and HubSpot

Seamlessly sync your Talin activity with HubSpot.

What's inside

What flows between Talin and HubSpot

Contacts create themselves

Prospects Talin sources land in HubSpot with their verified email and phone number attached, matched to the record you already hold, never duplicated onto a new one.

Activity logs sync

Every email, InMail, connection request, and SMS Talin sends writes back as a note on the prospect, and so does every reply. The CRM timeline stays the whole story.

Campaign status in your CRM

Salespeople who live in HubSpot can see which campaign a prospect is in and when they entered or left it, without opening Talin.

You choose every trigger

Push on upload or only once a contact is enriched, note on send or only on reply, include message bodies or keep notes to the headline. Each one is its own switch.

How to set up

Connect HubSpot in four steps

1 –
Select integration
2 –
Connect your account
3 –
Map your fields
4 –
Start syncing

Pick HubSpot from the list

Open Settings → Integrations in Talin and choose HubSpot under CRM. One workspace can carry an ATS and a CRM at the same time, so this slot is only half the stack.

Sign in to HubSpot

Talin hands off to HubSpot's own sign-in to authorize the connection. Approve the access it asks for and you land back in Talin connected. No credentials are ever typed into Talin.

Decide what syncs, and when

Choose which events push a prospect to the CRM and which write a note: on send, on reply, on entering a campaign, and on which channel. Nothing moves until you say so.

The first sync runs itself

HubSpot shows as connected and Talin starts writing. Change any switch later, or disconnect, without touching the records and notes already in your CRM.

The HubSpot details

Good to know

HubSpot is the BD half of the stack: prospect campaigns sync in real time, while candidate campaigns stay in your ATS, so client outreach never mixes into recruiting records.

Prospects write as Contacts or as Leads, your choice in the sync settings, matched to how your pipeline reports.

Every touch on every channel, and every reply, logs as a note on the record, attributed to the Talin user who owns the campaign.

FAQ

HubSpot integration, answered

Yes. Talin pushes prospects and their enriched contact details into HubSpot, and pulls records the other way so a prospect who already exists in your CRM is matched rather than duplicated. Every message Talin sends and every reply it receives writes back as a note on the prospect.

Your choice, set once in the sync settings, so records match however your HubSpot pipeline reports. Change it later without reconnecting; candidate campaigns are unaffected either way.

No, by design. HubSpot receives prospect campaigns only, and candidate campaigns write to the ATS half of your stack, so BD pipeline and recruiting records never blur. One workspace runs both connections side by side.

About five minutes. You pick HubSpot in Settings → Integrations, sign in to HubSpot and approve the access it asks for, choose which events push records and write notes, and the first sync starts on its own. No engineering, no data migration.

Prospects, with the contact details Talin verified. You choose the trigger: every prospect uploaded to Talin, or only the ones whose email or phone number Talin enriched, so your CRM stays free of records that were never reachable.

No. Talin matches on the identifiers HubSpot already holds before it writes, so an existing prospect gets updated and noted instead of re-created. You can also have Talin pull prospect emails that already exist in your CRM so it never spends a credit re-finding them.

Every event is a switch. Push on upload or on enrichment; add a note when a prospect receives a message, when they reply, or when they enter and leave a campaign; include the full message body in notes or keep them to the headline. Change any of it later without reconnecting.

Syncing stops and nothing is deleted. Records and notes Talin already wrote stay in HubSpot, and your Talin campaigns keep running. Reconnecting picks the sync back up with your previous settings.
