How far do your credits go?
Set how many candidates and how many hiring managers you want to reach each month, pick the contact data you need for each, and it tells you the credits and the plan that covers them.
What a credit buys
Credits pay for finding things and for the AI that scores what you find. Sending is free, so the number that drives your bill is how many contacts you enrich each month and how deep you go on each one, not how many messages you send.
| Business email found | 1 credit | Verified work email address |
| Personal email found | 3 credits | Personal address, where a work one will not land |
| Phone number found | 6 credits | Cell number, and it includes both email addresses |
| AI Shortlist | 1 credit per contact | Scores every profile 0-100 on criteria you set |
| AI Personalization | Free | Writes a personalized line for each contact |
| AI Search Builder | Free, unlimited | Turns a resume or job description into a LinkedIn search |
Two of those rates decide almost everything. Phone numbers cost six times a work email, so a desk that dials is a different shape of bill from one that emails. And a lookup that finds nothing is free, so an inflated list costs you time rather than credits.
A worked example
Say one recruiter works 400 candidates and 300 hiring managers a month. Work email on everyone is 700 credits. Put AI Shortlist on the 400 candidates and that is another 400. You are at 1,100 credits, inside the $149 plan, with room to spare.
Now say the same recruiter needs cell numbers on the 400 candidates instead. That is 2,400 credits for those alone, plus 300 for the hiring managers and 400 for scoring: 3,100, which lands on the $249 plan. Same volume, very different answer, and that is the whole reason this page has a calculator on it.
What each plan includes
Every plan carries the whole platform: unlimited campaigns, AI Search Builder, AI Shortlist, AI Copywriter, multichannel outreach, the unified inbox, two-way ATS and CRM sync, and a dedicated account manager. Plans differ on credits and scale features, not on what the product can do. Teams of three or more can get a custom allocation instead.
Common questions
- What is a credit?
- A credit is what Talin spends to find something about a contact, or to run an AI feature that has a per-contact cost. Sending messages costs nothing. Campaigns are unlimited on every plan.
- Do I lose credits when the data is not there?
- No. Credits are only spent when data is successfully found. A lookup that comes back empty costs nothing, which is why the accuracy of the underlying waterfall matters to your bill and not just your bounce rate.
- Do unused credits expire at the end of the month?
- Unused credits roll over for up to four months, so a quiet month funds a busy one.
- What if I run out mid-month?
- You can add credits without changing plan: $0.05 per credit as a monthly add-on, or $0.10 per credit as a one-off top-up.
- Are credits per user or per account?
- Per user, per month. A five-seat team on Pro has 7,500 credits a month between them.
