ROI Calculator

What's Talin worth to your desk?

Put in your own team size, placement value, and funnel rates. You get the extra placements, the hours back, and the revenue that follows. Nothing to sign up for.

What this calculator actually works out

An agency desk has two halves and they fail for different reasons. One desk runs out of candidates. The other runs out of job orders. Automation pays back differently depending on which one you are short on, so the calculator has a tab for each.

Recruiting

The hours-into-placements model. Tell it your team size, the hours a recruiter gets back each week, your average placement value, and how many hours a placement takes you today. It converts the recovered hours into extra placements and prices them.

Use this when you have more roles than you can work.

Business development

The funnel model. Hiring managers contacted per month, reply rate, what share of replies are positive, close rate, and the lifetime value of a client. It walks the funnel down to closed deals and shows every stage, so you can see where a number is doing too much work.

Use this when the desk is short on job orders.

Bring four numbers

The result is only as honest as what you put in, and most people already know these off the top of their head: average placement fee or contract margin, how many placements a recruiter makes in a year, roughly what your outreach reply rate is, and what a client is worth over the life of the relationship.

The defaults are industry-standard ratios, not a forecast. Change them. A model built on somebody else's numbers is worth exactly nothing in a partner meeting, and the point of this page is to give you something you can defend.

One honest caveat. Time saved only turns into revenue if the freed hours go back into the desk. If a recruiter gets ten hours a week back and spends them on the same admin in a different shape, the model overstates it. Talin's job is to remove the admin, and the calculator assumes you redeploy the hours.

Common questions

Do I need a Talin account to use it?
No. There is no signup and nothing to install. The calculator runs in the page and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Where do the default numbers come from?
Industry-standard time-to-placement ratios and the funnel rates we see across the agencies running Talin. They are starting points, not promises. Replace every one of them with your own figures before you read anything into the result.
Which tab should I use?
Recruiting if you are trying to work more roles with the same headcount. Business development if the constraint is job orders rather than candidates. Most agencies have one desk that is clearly tighter than the other, so start there.
How much does Talin cost?
Plans run $149 to $249 per user per month with credits included and no seat minimums. Full breakdown on the pricing page.
